Description

IC1275 together with Trifid & Lagoon nebulas, (M8-M20)
B2 scale, Kos island remote area, Greece
  • 90' rgb with a plain Sony A7iii and no modifications
  • no dither
  • no guiding

IIRC these were the settings:
f/2,
640iso,
120" per exposure (roughly 45 exposures)

This Samyang 135mm lens is a beast. Together with the big pixels of Sony A7iii it quickly turned into one of my favorite portable setups.
I was lucky and the one I received performs great at f/2 without needing to lower the aperture.

I shot this back on last year, during late May. Me with couple of friends went to one of our favorite dark places to chill and shoot photos together.
It was a success! The  conditions were great and helped us a lot capturing some "harder" details. We sat there and spent all the night capturing the nightsky, chatting and drinking beers.
Now, regading the picture, I enjoyed noticing the IC1275 region showing like this, especially with an unmod camera.
We always speak about nebulas and galaxies but what about dusts?
So much dust going around, and with a little use of your imagination you might be able to notice a frog :-) If you notice it, please write it on the comments!

p.s. This year I wanted to shoot it with me 1000mm telescope but the night I went to camp the weather didnt make me the favor. Oh well, the beers the company and sandwiches were great.

Any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.
